A couple of months back, if you were going to assemble a team of guys to defend DREAMWAVE Wrestling against an onslaught of people hell bent on destroying it, three of the four guys in this match would be on that team.
Brubaker, has been on 90 consecutive DREAMWAVE shows (that’s all of them). Waylon has been here since nearly the beginning as well, even almost running for Mayor back in 2011 (yes, really). Mike Hartenbower cut his teeth in professional wrestling here, and even adopted the moniker “LVO” (La Salle’s Very Own).
In case you have been sleeping under a rock, DREAMWAVE is at war with a group consisting of newcomers and people who have been here all along. It is now clear that it is Zahra Schreiber (yes, that Zahra Schreiber) who is pulling the strings of this previously unarmed group of enemies, apparently now known as “Deep Six”.
Deep Six has taken both the young and impressionable (Donovan Danhausen) and the grizzled veterans (Brubaker) and convinced them that they share a common enemy, DREAMWAVE.
Hartenbower and Waylon (Spears & Beers) go to battle with two members of Deep Six, Brubaker & Danhausen at The Fight Before Christmas and there has never been more at stake.

Donovan Danhausen, Arik Cannon, Brubaker, and Zahra d. Prince Mustafa Ali, Mike Hartbenbower, Waylon, Darin Corbin, and Marshe Rockett in a Survival of the Fittest Match.
The match came down to Prince Mustafa Ali and Zahra, who had been protected most of the match by her team. Zahra had been a factor, in the match, even using the Curb Stomp to eliminate Darin Corbin at one point.
Just as Ali, who had engineered an amazing comeback for Team DREAMWAVE, was about to get her hands on Zahra, the lights went out. When they came back on Christian Rose was in the ring and he hit Ali with the Ride the Lighting.
This leaves so many questions, clearly Rose was recruited by The Evil Queen, Zahra Schreiber for her supergroup that has infected DREAMWAVE and begun to tear it to it’s core.

Zahra Schreiber defeated a whole team of dudes during her in-ring debut Saturday night in Illinois and she used the curb stomp to help get the job done!
Zahra stepped into the squared circle for Dreamwave Wrestling … with her team consisting of Arik Cannon, Donovan Danhausen, Nick Brubraker and Ruff Crossing for an elimination match.
Those in attendance tell us Schreiber hit Seth Rollins‘ former finishing move the curb stomp on an opponent shortly before becoming her team’s sole survivor — then won the match via interference.
